As you continue completing the Resume Outline,
the Skill Summary Section is the next section to work on.
This Section at the top of your resume is very important because it gets the employer's initial glance. If done
properly your skill summary will grab the employer's attention and impel them to look further down the page
of your resume details.
This is your chance to WOW the employer.
The Skill Summary is made up of bulleted, succinct phrases that describe your skills and abilites.
You will tweek this section every time you apply for a particular job to custom fit that employer.
Compare the skills you possess with what the employer is looking for.
Answer the following questions:
1) What did the employer list as important? Make sure all of the skills important to the employer
that you possess are included in the skill summary.
2) What particular experience do I have that the employer is looking for?
