Honors and Awards You Have Received
It is a good idea to keep a list of any notable awards or honors you are given in the course of school, work,
volunteering, or groups you are involved with for entertainment.
Include those Awards & Accomplishments relevant to the position you are applying for with the most
current listed first.
Ask yourself the following questions:
1) What was the title of the award or honor I was given?
2) What year was I given it?
3) Who was the awarding organization?

Professional Membership Section
The very last section to work on as you complete your Resume Outline
is the Professional Membership section.
Include memberships in professional organizations relevant to the position you are applying for or those
that you hold a leadership position in. If you are early in your career and have not pursued professional
membership, now is a great time to get involved - it will help you round out your resume and your
career contacts.
Ask yourself the following questions:
1) What are the names of Professional Membership Organizations that I currently am a member in that
relate to the position I am applying for?
2) What Leadership Positions have I held in any organizations?
3) What were my years of membership?
