Dental Assistants assist the dentist, set up patients and equipment, and keep records. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of Dental Assistant jobs will grow much faster than average (21% or higher) in the period 2006 - 2106. In 2008 the median wage for a dental assistant was $15.57 / hour.

Most Dental Assistant jobs will require training in a vocational school, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. If you have good communication and organizational skills, enjoy working with the public, and like to assist and care for others, this job may be a good match for you!
